new porcelain series
I have been working on some more stuff as part of the collaborative project I’m involved in; Goldenink which is a printmaking cross gold and silversmithing initiative. We are still working on the finer details such as a website and where we will be selling the work. At the moment Kate and myself are focusing on the product range and production.
This series is porcelain based, some of it will be wearable art and others art based objects. As shown in the images the work is still in the first stages before being fired. The colour shown is underglaze which had proved to be quite tricky to do intricate designs, though recently I came across a medium that can be added instead of clay making it easier to paint detail and watercolour effects.
